Job Overview
The Assistant Recruiter is a key part of the Human Resources department, focusing on identifying and attracting the most talented individuals to join our team. The Assistant Recruiter helps on-site staff, hiring managers, and internal and external recruiters throughout the hiring process. This includes managing open positions, reviewing incoming applications, and coordinating the process from first contact to first day. The Assistant Recruiter may also coordinate interviews, assessments, reference checking, and other pre-employment tasks. Duties & Responsibilities
- Work with the HR Team, Hiring Managers, and On-Site Staff
- Manage Job Postings on Multiple Channels
- Review Incoming Resumes and Rank / Score / Annotate / Escalate
- Coordinate the Interview Process
- Initiate and Review Pre-Hire Assessments
- Manage Candidate Flow and Pipeline
- Maintain Candidate Information and Documents
- Initiate New-Hire Onboarding Process
- Preform Scheduled and Ad-Hoc Reporting and Analysis
- Respond to Ad-Hoc Requests
Education & Training
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Commerce, Law, or related field.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- Demonstrated passion for working with systems and fellow team members
- Strong reading comprehension skills with the ability to communicate effectively
- Flexible and adaptable with excellent organization, time management and prioritization skills
- Highly self-motivated and action-oriented, able to execute efficiently
- Easily adapts and embraces new technologies introduced and used within the organization
