Job Overview
Candidate must be harnessing their knowledge of design principles and drafting technology to prepare the full-scale, detailed drawings used in construction. Working closely with architects and engineers, architectural drafters also apply mathematical calculations and construction principles to check the accuracy of their drawings or those of teammates.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Translate and develop handdrawn, pdf files and plans to AutoCAD 2012, MS Visio format – Generate AutoCAD drawings and construction details.
- Architectural plan detailing, sectional details, elevation details and construction drawings.
- Coordinate and execute the list of jobs to be detailed in accordance with the Architect – Managers’ instructions in India.
- Check design and details before submitting to the Manager.
- Ensure that internal procedures are maintained and produce reports as required.
- Contribute improving designs and detail.
Education & Training
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering
- Minimum 02 years of relevant, handson Drafting and experience
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- Excellent problemsolving skills.
- Extensive knowledge of CAD software and other architectural drafting tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
