Activities

  • Primary responsibility for financial performance of each property location. This would include identifying, recommending and executing opportunities for improved performance
  • Initiates and oversees third party account set up and building services implementation within an in-house network
  • Undertake extensive financial modeling to establish leasing, operations and capital goals for presentation to owner stakeholders
  • Closely monitors monthly cash flows to ensure periodic strategic goals are met
  • Work closely with in-house upper management to provide day-to-day oversight of all commercial activities including leasing, property management, capital deployment, accounting, and legal
  • Collaborate with leasing department to determine strategic space mix for long-term growth and stability
  • Initiates and manages annual budget and approves expenditures for portfolio of responsibility in order to meet financial goals identified in the business plan
  • Recommend maintenance and capital improvements needs. Participate in capital planning and coordination of capital work
  • Conduct periodic site visit of each building
  • Monitor building budgets to assure that spending is per budget. If budget is exceeded, ensure disclosure to client through variance reports. Matter is to be documented
