Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Oversee the monthend and yearend closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to accounting principles
- Coordinate and review the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations
- Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to improve efficiency and internal controls
- Monitor and analyze financial performance, providing insights and recommendations to management
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to support budgeting and forecasting processes
- Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff, providing guidance and training as needed.
Education & Training
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Accounting or Finance.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- Indepth knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial reporting standards.
- Extensive experience in managing and overseeing all aspects of the accounting function, including financial statement preparation, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Strong expertise in analyzing financial data, identifying trends, and providing strategic recommendations to senior management.
- Proven track record in implementing and improving internal controls and processes to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Proficient in using accounting software and advanced Excel functions for data analysis and financial modeling.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor and develop accounting staff.
- Solid understanding of tax regulations and experience in coordinating tax filings and audits.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with crossfunctional teams and present financial information to stakeholders.
