Job Overview

Candidate must be responsible for performing various accounting duties along with leading and engaging a team of 25-30 peoples of accounting under him. This individual will be responsible for overseeing the accounts payable, receivable and conducting other similar tasks. This will also require prompt communication and coordination with client, vendors, and cross function teams.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • · Managingand overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department
  • · Monitoring and analyzing accounting data and produce financial reports or statements
  • · Establishing and enforcing proper accounting methods, policies, and principles
  • · Meet financial accounting objectives

  • · Coordinate and complete annual audits
  • · Monitor team performance and report on metrics
  • · Create an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture
  • · Oversee daytoday operation
  • · Have good experience in team handling and have ability to direct and supervise
  • · Assign projects and direct staff to ensure compliance and accuracy
  • · Develop staff by managing performance, setting goals, providing ongoing training, and maintaining strong employee relationships

Education & Training

  • · Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting or Finance, CPA, inter CA or MBA Finance preferred.
  • · 3 + years of progressive accounting experience in offshore accounting with a portion of it being in a supervisory role
  • · Excellent verbal and written communication abilities across all levels of an organization
  • · Strong leadership skills with a dedication to driving and achieving results
  • · Experience with other financial systems like quick books, Yardi, xero

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  • · Good attention to detail and organizational skills
  • · Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • · Knowledge in Advanced MS Excel is Must
  • · Have a good work ethic and morale standards
  • · Work efficiently with a commitment to high standards
